Which do you think is most important? Its obviously build talent you say? Are you Joking? You must be joking. Have you stepped out of the house recently? Have you seen Von Dutch clothing? Crayon weilding Chimpanzes yield better designs. Furthermore, I dream the monkeys are more sanitary, but I digress.
#6 is clearly the most prominent element. You can originate an entire line of fashion forward, gorgeous clothing but if you can't pitch it - no one will ever see it (excluding your mom of course). So, unless you want a closet full of your astounding designs, ask yourself the following two questions:
Can I sell?
In other words......can I hit the pavement with my line sheet and walk into every boutique clothing store I can find? Then will I harass the hell out of sell clothing store buyers so that they'll try to squeeze 5 minutes of time in for me at Magic 06' (Clothing Convention) ?
Will I be able to make a expert presentation to a Nordstroms buyer?
Can I promote?
Do I have and creative viral or gureilla marketing ideas to get this label kickstarted?
If the answer to both of these questions is No - you better get some help. Namely, find person passionate for fashion who also happens to be ridiculously outgoing, great on the phone and aggressive as hell. Lastly, (and superficially) it would help if your sales rep is hot.
I know, how horrible.....so sorry, buy I didn't say whatever about this being an equal occasion blog :)

Women chefs are surging ahead in the top jobs in the culinary profession. While women have cooked for the families of presidents and kings, none have been named to be the head chef whether at court or in the White House. However, this situation is changing. In order to expand the cause of talented women in chef pants, the Women Chefs and Restaurateurs association, together with Olivado Oil, are now sponsoring an yearly competition called Chef Quest - Celebrating Women Chefs. Helene Kennan, the president of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs, says that Wcr members are among the most creative in the profession and as women they understand the equilibrium of good health and good taste. Agreeing to Chris Nathan, the founder of Olivado Oil, the purpose of the contest is not just to celebrate creative recipes. It is also to promote healthy eating and to aid women chefs to expand in the culinary profession.

How to use this technique
You will need to make a brainstorming (40 min to 1 hour) meeting with your team. If you have a large team, you can divide it into groups of 5-6 people. construe to your team the purpose of the meeting and the rules of brainstorming activity. They are: do not no criticize or judge, welcome any ideas, respect others point of view, focus on quantity not quality, and description ideas and thoughts.
Provide the details of the Swot Analysis. Give each group a ready flipchart. In order to make it, just draw two lines to make 4 squares. Write the titles for each square. A square on the top left will be Company Strengths; the square below it will be Opportunities, the square on the right - Weakness, and the last one - Threats. Let your team brainstorm and write down all the ideas they have.
You will be very surprised about how active and creative your employees will be while this meeting. I propose that at the end of this meeting each group makes a presentation and has an occasion to ask questions and have a discussion.
Strengths
Strengths are resources and capabilities that can be used as a basis for developing a competitive advantage. Think about what do your company (store) does well. Use your customers' point of view - how do your clients see and retell your strengths?
