Screen printing is the oldest and arguably the most versatile recipe we will discuss today. It has been around for nearly two thousand years and is also known as silkscreen printing. Printers used uncomplicated wooden frames stretched with washable silk to which a design stencil was attached with a screen filter. Heat Transfer

While not nearly as old as New York screen printing, heat exchange has been around for decades. In modern years, computers have been used to furnish design patches which are essentially ironed onto blank garments. Larger practice printers use a machine known as a heat press, but some smaller firms indeed do use irons. Heat transfers furnish higher potential prints than screen printing, but they are more expensive and they can take up to fifteen minutes for each practice garment. A skilled printer can furnish dozens of practice garments using screen printing in that time.

Digital Cut out Printing

Digital printing for garments is a relatively new method. It relies on extra laser printers that originate high potential patches that are often made of vinyl. Like the old method, it relies on heat to apply these patches to the garments. Most sports jerseys use digital cut for embossed numbers.

Direct to Garment Digital Printing

As the most recent of the practice printing methods, direct to garment is both expensive and accurate. When it comes to quality, no other process can compare. It relies on state-of-the-art digital printers that have been modified to print directly onto garments. These printers can reproduce nearly any image, no matter how intricate or colorful.

The Final Verdict

Which recipe is best? Well, it indeed does depend on quantity, quality, and timeframe. Since most practice projects involve uncomplicated designs and large quantities, New York screen printing is the most favorite choice. However, if you need a more colorful shirt and time is not a concern, you might reconsider heat transfer, since it is less expensive than either recipe of digital printing in New York.

Tim's world is rocked when Dawn turns up at the office to say hello. Despite a stern warning from Gareth and wise words from Keith in Accounts, Tim can't help but get his hopes up again. Meanwhile, David Brent has secured the services of a dating agency and, in between making celebrity appearances in nightclubs for £500 a go, he meets up for drinks with a rather disappointing selection of single women. The office Christmas party kicks off like any other but there are a few surprises in store.
